By booking a tour with Via Inca Travel, the client fully accepts and agrees to all terms and conditions outlined below. We encourage you to read them carefully before confirming your reservation.
1. Booking and Payment
- A 30% deposit is required to confirm any reservation.
- The remaining 70% must be paid at least 20 days prior to the tour.
- Bookings made less than 20 days before the tour require full payment.
- Payment is made through a secure link sent via email.
- We accept credit/debit cards, international bank transfers, and, upon coordination, payments in local currency or USD.
2. Cancellation and Changes
- No free cancellations are allowed after the booking is confirmed.
- Cancellations made after confirmation result in the loss of the initial deposit.
- Modifications may be requested but are subject to availability and may involve administrative or penalty fees.
- In cases of force majeure (strikes, weather disruptions, political unrest), we offer flexible date changes or credit toward a future tour.
3. What’s Included and Not Included
Each tour package clearly outlines what’s included. Unless otherwise specified, the following applies:
Included:
- All scheduled land transfers
- Entrance tickets and permits
- Train and bus tickets (where applicable)
- Bilingual local guide
- Hotel accommodations (if included in your package)
Not Included:
- Domestic or international flights
- Optional experiences (e.g., Huayna Picchu hike, Vistadome upgrade)
- Meals not mentioned in the itinerary
- Personal expenses, travel insurance, and tips
4. Travel Requirements and Responsibilities
- A valid passport copy is required at the time of booking. This is essential for ticket issuance.
- Clients are responsible for providing accurate personal information.
- Participants are expected to follow local laws, park regulations, and all safety instructions given by our team.
- We strongly recommend arriving in Cusco 2–3 days before altitude-based tours for proper acclimatization.
5. Insurance and Liability
- Travel insurance is mandatory. It must cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, personal belongings, and delays.
- Via Inca Travel is not liable for personal losses, injuries, or damages resulting from delays, force majeure, or traveler negligence.
- All activities carry inherent risks; participation implies personal responsibility.
6. Ethical Tourism Commitment
- Via Inca Travel adheres to the ESNNA Code of Conduct, in accordance with Peruvian Law No. 28251, rejecting all forms of sexual exploitation of minors in tourism.
- Our staff is trained and committed to ethical, responsible travel that respects local communities and cultural heritage.
7. Data Privacy
- We collect only the necessary data (e.g., passport details, email) for booking and legal compliance.
- Your information is protected under Peruvian data protection laws and is never shared with third parties without your consent, except where legally required.
8. Intellectual Property
- All content on the Via Inca Travel website, including logos, images, and itineraries, is protected by copyright.
- Unauthorized use, reproduction, or commercial distribution is prohibited.
